Is it realistic that LSU does that "coach in waiting" thing with Schiano? Seems the only reasonable way to ensure he stays here for longer than a year or two.

If he leaves that means in the short term LSU has had incredible success and also we get a much better chance at hiring the replacement and someone really good than we did with Chavis
