Today for sure, and 20 years from now it will be more talented. Sports evolve. It is a little bit down for big men now, but there's such a small pool of 7 footers in the world.

Yup. MAYBE the elite group of players are better in certain time periods, but the talent pool as a whole is almost always better in the present day.
This is why stupid people think CBB or CFB are "down" some years.
