I had wondered what happened to him when I wasn't hearing him do Lakers and Dodgers broadcasts anymore, He was supposed to be the successor to Chick Hern.
New Orleans and the Pelicans got a good one. He and Jim Henderson would be a great 1 - 2 punch in any market.

Lakers didn't renew his contract. Unsure what the other poster was talking about when he inferred that pels pulled him away from the lakers. He was unemployed.
