Any team can say that any day. It's stupid. Especially after you just got blasted by almost 40.
Oregon wins against FSU 7 out of 10 IMO.

OK. If Oregon's defense hadn't created so many turnovers (slash, if FSU hadn't had so many giveaways), the game could have gone either way.
Was this supposed to make some kind of point?

Said if you're real with yourself, you know this game could have gone either way. Oh, and apparently they went 1-1 last night because they beat themselves
The validity of this statement doesn't really matter. This guy just doesn't get it. I will say, Jimbo seems to have zero problem letting the inmates run the asylum. Jameis displays the occasional glimpse of leadership (like consoling his true freshman teammate after fumbling a 2nd time). I wonder if the right coach/mentor could straighten this guy up. I'm curious to see his evolution in the NFL as much as I dislike him.

What a moron.
Reminds me of Aaron Brooks, who once said after the Saints were deep into their shitty 13 loss Katrina year season - "This is a championship football team"

He's right. Take out the turnovers, and the game was very evenly matched. 18-13 at half.
So that equates to 36-26. Tell me again how his comment applies, idiot
Oregon made mistakes as well.
Face the facts, that FSU defense had ZERO chance of keeping up with the fast paced assault Oregon wash forcing down their throats.

Take out the turnovers
So if we just eliminate all the mistakes FSU made and all the taking advantage of those mistakes that Oregon made, they would have one?
Wow, that's deep.
Ahh! I've got another. If we take away all of Oregon's POINTS - FSU easily wins the game!

Oregon was clearly the better team yesterday.
Neither I nor Jameis disputes that. All he's saying is that, on a different day (or if you could reset yesterday), the game could've gone either way. The teams were evenly matched. Yesterday was just Oregon's day.
Here are my observations;
There is a bit of truth to what Jameis said. 4 turnovers in one quarter is an absolute freak occurrence, and fsu left a ton of points on the field in the first half. However, this was just a bad matchup for fsu, as their defense just couldn't stop Oregon at all. Is Oregon 39 points better than fsu? No, but if they played 10 times Oregon probably wins 8 or 9 of those games by an average of 2 td's. Only way fsu could beat Oregon is by playing a perfect game offensively. Even had cook not fumbled the first time and fsu scores to take a small lead I don't think they could have stopped oregons offense enough to win a shootout.
