If you had to to pick one, which of these three do you think will be closest to an elite program in 3 years? LSU OU Texas

LSU/Texas

OU

Oklahoma -
Baylor and TCU are going to be the new royalty of the B12 and Texas will join them after Strong gets them in order. OU has to fight OK state for recruits and now has to beat out Texas, TCU, Baylor, AND TAMU for Texas recruits who really want to be at those schools on the come up. Now they do have Baker Mayfield who was pretty good a Texas Tech. That would switch out Trevor Knight and they could use Trevor either in the receiving game, or as a running option at QB. However, I think they will fall to Bo Pelini, Nebraska levels the next few years.

Texas -
It looks bad now, but that's because of Mack Brown's failed evaluations in recruiting and cleaning house in year one. He has a pretty mobile pro style QB coming in next year in Zac Gentry who is 6'5 230 and would be perfect for LSU's offense. He also has a player similar to Malik Zaire and Brandon Harris in Jerry Heard, who he is redshirting this year. IMO, this is what LSU wanted to do with Harris, but everybody up and left. Strong suffered this year because Ash went down in the offseason and he didn't want to throw Heard in as a true freshman. Swoopes is a terrible QB, and I have no idea how he was recruited to play QB AT ALL.

Maybe on defense as a DE or offense as a TE or WR, but his team went 1-9 in his senior high school season in 2A division in Texas. Completed 42% of his passes for 873 yards and 9 TDs. It wasn't like he was an all running team either, as he played in 8 games and averaged 24 passes per game. He had a horrendous 4.52 ypa average to boot. He was a much better runner, gaining nearly 1200 yards and 16 TDs in 8 games. He had over 2200 rush yards and 29 TDs as a junior and 1300 rush yards and 27 TDs as a sophomore. He averaged over 11 ypc for his 3 year career.

Anyway. I got off subject, but if they get Chris Warren (a top RB) Ryan Newsome, and keep John Burt, these guys have the pieces to a great offense. They also have some top level OL pieces in this class. Strong is a defensive mastermind so that will be good when he gets his recruits in place.

LSU -
LSU has a chance, if it makes the right hires on DC, to pull in a top 5 class in 2016 just grabbing players from our own backyard. If Harris is what I believe he is, we have him for the next three years. LSU is right on the cusp of true greatness, or straight up being mediocre. I mean we are right there. QB play and DC hire completely changes this team to either elite, or common. IMO 2015 will either be the start of the greatest run in LSU history, or snoozer 9-4 ville where Miles will either retire or get fired after a couple of years of not getting over the hump. My money is obviously on the former.
