Yeah, it's always the big dog that hates it the worst. My little ones don't care.

On the bright side, it's supposed to storm Friday so hopefully everybody saw the report and blows their wad tonight and tomorrow and won't pull what's becoming the annual "two weeks of random fireworks" BS.

I just took my dog for a walk to show him what the noises were. Every time a mortar would fire, he would act like he was trying to protect me.

My son's big dog loved it. We used to pen her on New Years/4th of July because she'd jump up and bite the firecrackers they threw and they'd go off in her mouth. Not that she cared; she had a ball catching those firecrackers. Dumb, lovable dog. RIP

Yep - my smallest dog gives zero fricks, my other big one gives about 1/4 of a frick - more like a curious head tilt every now and then, and my lab is losing her mind. I have to tape socks around her paws and put her muzzle on so she doesn't destroy things. Going grab the Benadryl now. I should have about two hours ago, but I wasn't thinking.
