He was good, saw him a number of times, late 80's to early 90's time frame.
Kenny Neal was another from the same period - very talented. Son of Raful Neal who I saw several times too, mostly at Blues Fests.
Charmaine Neville is a third from that era that I enjoyed seeing. I still remember her at the first Earth Day celebration in Baton Rouge, and the piles of garbage everywhere because they didn't put out enough trash cans.
