don't think that changed anything. Chavis probably made the decision before Harbaugh to michigan was finalized.
No matter what the primary factor was, trust LSU sources reported it wasn't money. the only place I've seen people say that is speculation on the rant.
Again go find some of the tweets and reports. It came down to two things. Miles Clause and years on contract. Maybe it is stupid that it came down to this, but these are what has been reported.

Overall I have always thought Chavis was one of the better coaches here. I did not like the scheme at end of some games but I did like his wellinness to make changes to better the team unlike the other side of the ball . Money , contract aside he might of grown tired of miles bs .
