If the BBQ shrimp are indeed head and shells on (as they should be, lol), then I'd serve a finger-food veg. Like roasted asparagus, or steamed artichokes. If ppl are already eating with their hands, why not go all the way?

I've had it served over garlic mashed potatoes with french bread on the side
