You're part of the problem with people who think "atlanta" is so awful, when your only experience there is going to the georgia dome.

The area around the dome sucks dick, as does downtown. People with common sense don't go there unless they have to. I live in the virginia highlands, right next to buckhead, and it's great. And despite what you think, it's Atlanta.
