Meh...remkaes of movies often take away a part of the original that was seen as "bad".
Bad news bears remake butchered the original by pcing up a movie that was 0 concerned about pc when it was made. In fact it was part of the comedy the lack of fricks given by kids and the lone adult

I dunno. I think if things like Southpark and Archer (and Beavis and Butthead and shows like that in the not too distant past) "fly" then A Christmas Story might get by.
