For the record, there are several black children in Ralphie's class.

The soap poisoning scene would probably be protested for the parents being so grief stricken about there son having no prospects in life because of his blindness.

Yep the black kids are there. Doubt they would have actually been there in 1930-40's Midwest. So that was added PC'ness.

And I thought the same thing this morning about the blinded scene. Americans With Disabilities would probably protest and Lifeboy would sue.
