Well I'm sure your new hires will be tough on LSU, whether we flip him or not. Hoping to see a game in the Swamp in the near future

Its very possible. I'd almost lean towards it being probable. I think the LSU staff was right in regards to him being a DB. I was so excited when he first committed to UF as a slot guy, but then I saw him at The Opening in 1on 1's. Woof. Right then it became clear he is at least 1yr from being a college ready WR and probably more than that. He is a great kid and has been awesome for UF as a commit, so if he picks LSU, no hard feelings.

the way he runs with the ball in his highlights id just put him at tailback till he can catch maybe even some snaps at wildcat

With Dillon it's not about catching or running fast. He can do both. He lacks what early contributors need, and that is the technique side of being a WR. Getting off press and knowing how to set up your breaks in a route. He literally couldn't get off press coverage at The Opening, and that's without pads. I'd love for him to pick UF and develop, especially if we bring in Mike Groh, but if he doesn't and goes to LSU, I'll respect his decision.

He'll flip. Just a matter of when unless something big changes

Yeah, its about relationships with him IMO, so when Florida went through their changes its was pretty much next choice. I will agree he's not a contributor early on in the SEC, but a great athlete that can develop in a number of areas, and start out in Special teams.

Either way Gators, good luck to Dillon, and to you guys with your new staff.

We flip Dillon and Charlot, keep Jazz, and still try to get Lodge and Johnson.

Yep! We'll sign a class of 45!!!

We as fans always say we will get this guy and that guy and that guy over there. The reality is we can't sign everyone we want nor everyone who wants in. Many think we will take 4, or even 5 WRs, because they are so highly rated. Taking that many leaves holes elsewhere.

QBs, RBs, WRs, DEs, and CBs are often rated highly. They get the most press and are often exceptional athletes. That doesn't mean you can win with a ton of 4 and 5 star WRs and have no players lined up anywhere else. You can't take 4 5* WRs just because they're there. You have to fill needs. Sometimes those needs are fill with 3* OLs.

I talked to him about a week ago, and it still seems he's a Florida lock. Could be wrong but that's the feeling I got.
