Yeah.

I think the ID folks though have become just flatly absurd. They seem to think that if they can somehow at least prove intelligent design that this would be informative.

Now, it would be one thing if two atheists were contemplating Intelligent design. THAT would actually make sense to me. Why someone who believes in the God of the Bible(or some variation thereof) thinks ID is important is beyond me.

An intelligent designer need not even be a God but hell, assuming said Intelligent designer meets some definition of what a God is, proving ID says pretty much ZERO about that designer's role in the lives of Humans or any other product of creation. Moreover, it has literally ZERO to say on how evolution played out in that said Intelligent Designer could've totally done everything via everything Science has discovered or will discover.

Like I said, the idea of an intelligent designer really and truly looks to me like a discussion two atheists could likely have.
