do you guys really think it takes 3 weeks to come to a buyout agreement of this large a size? it takes a year and a half at the least.

A plan could have been discussed long in advance with the official signing contingent on the election right? Don't you think Bollinger could have killed the deal if he wanted before finalization?

Bull! It didn't take more than a few weeks for buyout agreements to be reached for the purchase of banks much larger than Bollinger Shipyards in 2008.
