And don't ignore that the only public, non-magnet elementary school in the state of Louisiana was awarded three months ago the prestigious designation of a National Blue Ribbon School because of its academic achievements is Parkview Elementary off of Jefferson Hwy not far from Woodlawn. It is, of course, an A rated school.

It is one of the schools the SG organizers want to be included in their ISD. LINK
