And that is no accident. It's the tactic the SG petition people have used to get signatures.

As I've related several times in other SG threads, I've been solicited many times at the shopping center on the corner of Perkins and Siegen (where Calandros is) by SG workers who asked me to sign their petition with their sales pitch being "Do you want to sign a petition so we can get better schools?"

Only by reading what the petition said did I know it was the incorporation petition. When I asked the workers where did it say anything about better schools on the petition they got very defensive, didn't want to speak to me anymore and turned their attention to the next person walking into the store repeating the same lie to that person.

I've wondered how many people signed the petition without taking the time to read the paragraph at the top of the petition which explains its purpose and thinking they were signing a petition requesting the school board for better schools?
