Bowfishing Regulation Questions

Say Baws
I asked for some bowfishing gear for Christmas, and was wondering about regulations as the affirmation of Christmas set in.
My outdoor knowledge tells me to follow the rod/real regs but I am left without a firm answer after reading LWFD regs. Salt to Fresh?
Any of you OBers can help?

Look on LDWF website... they have all the info. You cannot shoot bass with a bow... considered a protected species.

I'm not going to lie I skimmed a great deal reading the LWFD regs.
After reading through the PDF they make it clear not to shoot any worth while freshwater species.
Target practice just got very boring.

Nothing beats the practice of shooting a live fish in water but I've heard cutting out different size PVC rings and throwing them out while you stand on an elevated surface (back of truck) and shoot in the rings is a good practice. I just got a bow for bowfishing last night and once it's set up, that's what I plan do do before the weather warms and we get back to actual bowfishing
