But was the 18 wheeler at fault?
ETA: Also, since you say there is an 18 wheeler "problem", do we have numbers on these accidents and how many are the fault of 18 wheelers?

SIL was going hunting this morning and ran into the back of a loaded cane truck that didn't have any running lights or tail lights.
Totaled his truck. He is in bad shape. Has one big cut in his fore head, broken nose, broken left arm, broken right ankle. Still waiting on more catscans and xrays. For sure he has to have surgery on his ankle.
