That's Bodi White's story and you're sticking to it.

So, how much you want to bet?

No, it's what numerous legislators said, on video. I don't need White to tell me what to think.

I will bet the farm that a school district that conforms to the boundaries of St George does not happen in the next 10 years. Incorporation was the primary objective of Bodi White, LR3 LLC, Mike Walker, etc. They just used schools as a way to get people behind it/outraged.

Asgard Device, I'm not saying you have a habit of deleting your posts but just in case you develop one I wanted to save the terms of your bet

Why? You won't eat crow in 10 years. You'll be using a different name to pimp the incorporation of Watson or Prairieville.

You mean two black legislators who were just looking for any excuse to shoot it down? Do you get all your legal advice from them?

I surely hope not. Things changed after deseg was overturned in Louisiana. Get your facts straight. This willful ignorance is getting old.

I'd consider this bullying

I'd say your posts against the incorporation while a petition is ongoing is exactly trying to suppress a vote

Nope, but unfortunately since the ISD failed to get funding there was no other option. The leaders of the SEBR scool district efforts are the same leaders of the SG incorporation efforts.

I don't gamble with anything but my tax dollars

What's with the name calling and personal Attacks by you and Russian.

I thought I was presenting my personal side and viewpoint as a legitimate stake holder, petition signer and potential voter.

I don't understand why you guys can't show a bit more respect?

Your "other choice" would have been to work within the school district to carve it up. EBR school district already had a proposal to split the area up into different districts. Also, you could have proposed a better plan that included more legacy costs and wasn't an obvious money grab and an obvious attempt at getting the people behind incorporation.

Now, the way you've done this you've all but guaranteed that the school district will never happen because now you'll never get the majority vote in EBR. The only way it will is if you include large swaths of the city of Baton Rouge in the new district, which kinda defeats the purpose. It'll be a shitty student population and middle class white people will continue to opt-out.

So, well played. You'll get to incorporate the city and use a general contractor as a shield to protect you from public records requests and the prying eyes of the public who may want to know how the money is really being spent. CH2mhill and higher taxes, here we come.

What name did I call you, and why are you trying so hard to be a victim? St George organizers are like the Al Sharpton of local politics.

Can you give me the cliff notes on why you are so worked up about this? I get your problem with the "money guys" and all that but is that the problem? You in BR or St George?

More willful ignorance. Do you really think people who feel left behind are going to vote for this after all the divisive attacks that have been going on? You think Baker is going to vote for this? All you have is St. George, Central, and Zachary. That's considerably less than half the parish.

The first time I've ever seen a post by you was tonight. And in that post you accuse me of violating the founding principles of our country, just because I oppose something you're in favor of. And you get your facts wrong that I'm trying to suppress a SG vote. I want heavy voter turnout in spite of Lionel Rainey, The Third's attempt to have the election when it's the only item on the ballot. It there is heavy turnout, the proposition will fail miserably.

Then you lump me with John Delgado, who I despise and fought to keep from being elected and failed.

If you're going to dish out shite, then be prepared to have shite thrown back at you.

If that's bullying, then so be it, swell guy.

Much of BR supports SG, because they know the state of the school system, just as SG residents do. You are grossly mistaken if you think SG doesn't have substantial support from RESIDENTS of BR. Just because Kip, Delgado, BRAC and BRAF are in opposition doesn't mean residents agree.

I know more SG residents that are against it than BR residences that are for it. Then you have all the people who live in unincorporated areas not included. That'll be a big "no" from them.

You know this, but you must pretend that incorporation is going to work because that's the main priority.

I don't think that the libraries should be receiving the highest individual percentage of my tax payment.

Anyone who has posted on this board for any length of time knows that I am an ardent opponent of the library board taxes, BREC's taxes and the CATS' tax.

But you're being silly about the library tax because it is a parish wide millage. It won't go down for you even if SG incorporates.

IMO EBR Schools should decide that they will pay teachers some considerable percentage higher than other districts to try to achieve some serious change.

Tell us, where does this money for higher teacher salaries come from?
