I believe it was the combo of incredible editing, non-fiction, and having a newborn. I still think about this film.

It's a messed up documentary, but the message is pretty simple: Don't stick your dick in the crazy. And if you do, don't get the crazy pregnant.

Seen it thrice. It's incredibly enthralling to me.

ETA: I have a hard time saying "daddy loves you" to my 3 month old because i hear her voice when she's on the phone saying "mommy loves you, mommy misses you".

Upon further reflection...maybe I shouldn't have watched it three times.

I didn't get nightmares but it was highly disturbing and made me VERY angry
