I was wondering if anyone knew much of anything about St. Augustine, Florida because I plan on going to to PT school there and just wanted to hear more of a personal point of view rather than it's websites telling me. Girls, things to do, etc.

Historic city on the beach. Nice when you do have down time to head to the beach for the afternoon.
You won't be dating anyone or have time to date anyone unless you're in class with them.

That's for the tourists. It's certainly got its tourist trap stuff but there's plenty to do outdoors with what time they do have outside the classroom.
Only thing I didn't like was the town pretty much shuts down by 9-10pm.

Is it more of a family place or vacation get away? Or is there some nightlife?

Vacation town whose year round residents are retirees.
But I'm telling you. It doesn't really matter. You're in school from 7:30-5:30/6 each day and studying until 10-11 each night.
You'll have some down time or breaks but it's not enough to base your decision on which school to attend. When you do go out to the bars it's with your classmates so the location doesn't really matter because you're with 15 or so people you know.

Been there twice doing tourist stuff, really enjoyed it both times. Went out to some bars after the ghost tour and they were alright, but like someone said it shuts down pretty early. I guess you're talking about Flagler college, congrats.
