See, I just love Guy Piccotto. Rites of Spring just seemed like it was always veering just out of control. While we're name checking Dischord bands, which I'm totally down for (Dag Nasty is indeed awesome), Nation of Ulysses is outstanding.
James Canty is also the best DC musician who went from drumming in an hugely influential group to being the lead guitarist in another band (NOU to the Pharmacists). Suck on that, Dave Grohl.
