As a black man, can you give me some insight into why so many black people behave this way in groups? I have always been curious if it is just the way you are raised.

Really?

Surely, you know what I am referring to. Like at the mall or a movie theatre and they are all shouting over each other and at the same time. It gets so loud and I just wonder why they are all screaming at each other and demonstrating such dis-respect to one another. It just seems so uncivilized and illogical. I rarely see this type of behavior from whites.

Then you must not get out much. Just go sit by the frat guys at an LSU game.

It seems that you are just trying to get a rise.

No....I am not trying to get a rise. It is a unique way of communicating that I have seen in 44 years beginning in junior high to present. It is a given that if I visit a mall, a theatre , an amusement park, etc., I will almost always see a group of black people in a "who can talk the loudest over the others" situation. I rarely see this among other racial groups. I was hoping to get a reply from SS about why it is prevalant among the black race. I readily admit that I find the behavior distasteful and disrespectful but could be opened up to acceptance and understanding if I better understood the reasons. The example of a group at a sporting event, especially an SEC football game is unsound as it is expected and encouraged of everyone to be loud and boisterous regardless of race. I am referring to public places and events where it is not expected or encouraged.
