re: Report: Michigan to offer Harbaugh 6 years/49 Million

I don't believe the public money thing. I read somewhere that Stephen Ross and the big cigars have decided to buck up. Is that so surprising? People 40 and under had never seen Michigan football like this until seven years ago. The school is desperate and has a lot of money. They have been able to go cheap in the past because the success was automatic and they could find someone grateful to take the job. Not anymore. This board is funny because now people are mocking Michigan for trying to overpay, but if they didn't, everyone would be criticizing them for being tightwads. Harbaugh will be worth the money if he brings success. My $0.02 is that if Harbaugh wasn't interested, the school would know that and have already made a big play for Les or somebody else.
