a lot of people adopt local teams and kids born in cities are certainly prone to liking those teams.

that commercial is way overboard but my dad grew up in wisconsin and liked the packers. i grew up in atlanta and am a falcons fan. my dad likes the falcons as well since he spent like 15 years in atlanta and his kids are falcons fans. he has now relocated to cincinnati and supports the bengals as well.

there are people out there who dont feel the need to answer to message board bad asses and support the teams where they live. especially people who grew up in a time where that was the only option.
