The politicians will get their talking points from the NRA lobbysits and it'll be a little callous, but they'll power through it.
"While this is an unspeakable and monumental tragedy, to impose liability on the manufacturer of a product for what an evil person does with the product would stifle innovation and commerce in this country." "Rabble, rabble, rabble, something about jobs and the Second Amendment", and that's about it.
The lawsuit will be quietly dismissed within 6 months.
