If you had a leak and did not put back in Honda fluid, that is your issue. You can get some at Advance. If you put the wrong fluid in, you need to pump it out and put in Fresh fluid. I did this exact thing and it worked. Hondas are very funny about this.
If you ever have a repair question. lookup "Eric the Car Guy" on Youtube. I believe he does repairs to an Odyssey in some of his videos.

Low fluid burnt up the pump, fix the leak and then replace the pump.
