Got it. Guess I just missed the primary rut. Just havent seen evidence on camera or in woods that it had happened. Of course I have seen 1 deer during daylight hours all season and he didnt make it.

secondary is usually about 18 days after primary.
but, keep in mind,,, deer, like all creatures, are similar to humans in that there are "individual and unique" characteristics.
