If Ohio State's 59-0 win over Wisconsin had happened in September and its overtime win over Penn State had happened Saturday, they would have gotten left out.

You are going to ignore that OSU would have probably been higher coming in to the last week if that 59-0 win happened earlier in the season.

The Ohio State guy is right here.

The SEC would get the same treatment in the given situation (or at least certain teams in the SEC).

The committee got the 4 correct, so if TCU was put in at 4 then Ohio State could have certainly had a right to complain.

It wouldn't have mattered where they were ranked. TCU was ranked #3 and dominated a weak opponent and got dropped, so how do you think the Committee would have reacted if Ohio State struggled with a weak opponent?
