Coaches seem to think so. That's been cited as a reason for most home & home series agreements. And the reason A&M quit playing us back in the 90s (they were loosing too many Texas recruits).

Once Hodson graduated after the 1989 season, the Tigers claimed only one of the next six games before LSU canceled the series after the 1995 season.
