About one lbs. per 1000 ft2. You have 2400 ft2 so 2.5 lbs aprox.


I also would sod though, you will need much more than one half pallet though. 5 pallets would do the trick. I would put sod down as soon as you figure the last freeze has passed at this point, seed probably in march just to avoid wash off and/or feeding birds for the winter.
