This was my first year running the St Jude Marathon.
I was there last year but the ice storm put a end to that.
This was my second half marathon. My wife (sorry no pics) also ran the half and was her first. We plan to make this a yearly event. We went with a great group of people that had earlier in the year put on a 5k race at AveryIsland Jungle Gardens to raise money for the kids of St Jude.

If you can run, walk or crawl you need to attend this great event every year 1st Saturday in December. You won't regret it. Do it at least once. Add it to your bucket list.

Dude ... lol. I really had a great time ... and on the tour we met a kid from New Iberia, a patient there. Well low and damn behold I was talking about the trip today and this patient's cousin works with me!! How I wish I'd known at the time!!!
Hoping it works out next year for me with my dtr's Nutcracker. Flying Saucer here we come!

Agreed. Amazing event. This was my wife's 4th time running here. She has done the half three times and the full for the first time this year. I always enjoy tagging along. It's a great weekend trip, and St Jude and the city of Memphis do a great job hosting the event.
