I agree, but we should have had that going in the fricking 80s. It's simply embarrassing we don't have a Moon Base right now. Really, if we kept it up from the 60s, the Moon Base would be a colony in the triple digits by now.

I also agree. fricking fund NASA and have them work with the private sector. Put NDT in charge of all things space.

I completely agree also, but the biggest problem is times are different. You won't see a politician put his or her neck on the line for national pride and most of their constituents on both sides of party lines don't seem to want a space program anyway. Hell, the condition of our country's infrastructure here on earth is starting to reach crisis levels and no one is doing anything about it.
