FWIW, a feral house cat at 100 yards does not tolerate a 150 grain corelockt from a .308 well.

I give myself 50% chance to hit a cat at 100 yards with a rifle. I'm so bad at shooting a rifle.

Why in the world would you want to shoot a cat?

Only way I could hit a cat at a 100 yds is with my tikka .22-250.. even then it wouldn't be guaranteed center mass

I had a literal pet cemetery in the backyard of my old house in Walker. Kept the trusty Benjamin .20 cal with scope in my truck. Damn near every night I pulled into my driveway I saw those glowing green eyes. That motherfricker was dead on at 50 yards. I know I had minimum 175 cats buried in that backyard. Hate cats with a passion because everyone would dump their unwanted cats in my neighborhood in Walker because I lived in the first neighborhood off the interstate.
