re: Why does the NFL refuse to place a camera facing directly down the goal line

it would seem to very easy to have a device on he bottom of the sticks that could shoot out a beam of light from the base to show the first down mark
hell if it was so lowered enough you could keep in on the whole time

(think of level lasers)
