It is rather interesting that when Saban left recruiting looked to have reached a lull with only about 15 commits in which Les didn't have a full class his first year. Was it a lack of effort because Saban had plans to leave? I know I am over reacting to that but it is interesting regardless.

Nonsense any nega will tell you recruits were falling out the cupboards they were so full when Nicky left.

I feel pretty certain Saban tanked the bowl game. Not purposely, of course. But the effort pretty clearly wasn't there.
