Oh okay, got it. Seems obvious now, but I guess that mindset is so foreign to me that I have to twist my brain to see it.

Accomplishing a task efficiently and doing a good job is not something that these men value. I guess that's a bit harsh, and God knows that I'm not always performing my duties at peak output, but I certainly feel that nudge of gullt if I'm standing around while co-workers are toiling.
