The man had a .350 conference winning percentage and was 0-6 vs the rivals. There isnt a school in the country that would have held on to him.

RR has been highly successful every where he has coached before Michigan and after Michigan. He was changing the Michigan style of play and recruiting a different type of player than Michigan had gone after before. That takes time. Michigan pulled the trigger after three years. Stupid thing to do given what RR was trying to do. The Michigan success in 2011 showed that RR was on the right track with his recruiting.
