The committee will select OSU if they beat Wisconsin. IF the committee takes TCU over Baylor then conference champions MEANS nothing and will be rendered meaningless forever.

The committee said the will "heavily weigh conference champions" and the Big 12 has the purest system to determine the champion. IF Baylor and TCU both win there is no way in the world the committee takes TCU over Baylor.

I agree about the logic of the round robin format meaning an equal conference schedule but 8-1 vs 8-1 doesn't make it so "pure" when the champion is determined by a "tie-breaker" and the committee claims to consider a lot of other factors in addition to conference championship.

Isn't even the Big12 itself waffling over whether they consider them "Co-Champions"?

I may be wrong as I simply read that posted on this board?

Again, not an argument for TCU over Baylor but simply that "Tie-breaker" doesn't exactly equate with "pure" to my mind. I'm not saying there's a more "pure" method but simply that, say, 9-0 vs 8-1 with the same conference schedule is what I consider beyond question.
