Meuller, the head of the Gestapo was also able to live in Syria for decades after the war. He died a normal death.It was one thing for the Mossad to capture Eichman in Argentina, where there were 10000's of Europeans from all over the world, quite another matter in Syria, where the whole country is anti Semitic. Brunner was one of the worst who got away.
