There aren't a lot of people walking around at reptile shows with an extra $1,400 in their pockets, but they'll get that for it eventually (or close to it). There are heavy restrictions on Eastern Indigo sales in most states, but they are one of the most prized snakes out there. Eastern Indigos are a lot better looking than Texas Indigos - jet black with a red throat. Texas have that speckled appearance. But they do get big, and people will buy Texas Indigos because they can't afford an Eastern (or can't find one available), and they want to say they have an Indigo.
