I don't know about that. St. Maarten brought in mongooses to get rid of the snake problem and now there are no snakes. The mice population exploded so they brought in alot of free cats, but they like the dumpsters better than mice. So now mice are everywhere and alot of lazy arse cats just watch them.

I lived in St Maarten for two years. Never saw a mouse in my house or any place, and I did enjoy the fact that you never had to worry about snakes anywhere you went
