I've seen a bunch at our ranch in south texas, but never anything close to that color. Usually they look more black or a dark, dark blue if anything.

a quick Google image search confirms this. Also the scales on the Indigo snakes are very glossy looking in the images on Google but this snake in the video seems to have a more matte finish. Wonder if this video is altered or if it's a different breed of snake
