In all seriousness great ideas... Looks like principals are reading these threads.

Lets hope certain hardliners dont block progress on at least reuniting 5a. Thats good enough for me

no.. none of these are new ideas, in fact much of this was suggested prior to flushing JC and ECA down onto the small schools.

one of the problems facing the LHSAA now is the level of mistrust even amongs schools in the same category...

for example principal A for 4 years says.. the way to fix this is make all schools play in their own class - period - that will cripple them... then along comes Katrina and breaks up his district and he spends the next 4 years working on a play up one class plan simply to restore his district.... FWIW the only reason that even passed was..

1.. 1a and 2a voted for it in unison to ensure they would get rid of eca and JC.. 4a in NOLA voted for it to rid themselves of catholic schools... and 5a well you get the picture.. so for 8 years 2a and 1a were shat upon by some power brokers.. then 3a...

IE.. the smaller selects don't even trust the larger selects..... much less the rifts between the selects and non selects...

and cramming the select championships into one WEEKDAY.. has also stirred some additional bad blood...

If they had let curtis play up in football only - after 2004 they likely would be all the way up in everything by now... and everyone would be happy.
