What does big passing plays have to do with putting teams away? Is a passing TD worth more points than a rushing TD?

We just need to be more effective in the red zone, getting 6 where we've been getting 3.

Very good job by coaching staff to employ the jet sweep. It was something that was out of the ordinary and something that they felt AJ was capable of doing.

I mean quick scores. It doesn't necessarily have to be a pass play, but you get long TDs from passes much more than runs.
We take so much time off the clock running down the length of the field, we take half a quarter to score 7. If we stall we just can't keep up in games where the opponent has quick strike ability.

The biggest hurdle to becoming more effective in the redzone is developing a legit passing game.

The field shrinks and the safeties creep up even more in the redzone, making it even more difficult to run; especially when we are in I-formation, 1 WR sets.
