Netflix has 4k stream options and DirectTV has an agreement to start putting out 4k content. Also there is some app called Ultraflix that you can download and play content.

The set itself upscales everything. i mean i may be naive now since i dont have the tv yet and i just spent about a grand for it but from the demos in the store there is a clear difference between 4k and the other sets . The guys on avf forums know alot more about this then I do and from reading their thoughts everyone is pretty impressed with this 4k tv for the price.

plus im upgrading from an old as frick 46" sharp, so might as well go with something that is future proof is the 4k does start to take off
