Why did Seattle throw it on 4th down up 16 with 2:00 left? Why not just kick the FG to make it a 3 possession game?

Because Seattle watched how Kaepernick played the whole game. They knew the game was over.

Is Jim Harbaugh pubishing the players here? Why keep the 1s out down two scores with no time left if you're not throwing deep?

Same reason Harbaugh went for 2 against Carroll when Stanford was kicking USC's arse.
