I didn't say that. What I said and meant was we could expect another HC hire would not spell the doom of LSU, its program or high achievements by our program. And that means a new HC could not only maintain, but even build on the good foundation laid by CLM, Saban, and yes even Dinardo (before his regression).

Now if you think this present HC can maintain his 10 year record, his string of 10 wins, even his string of at least 8 wins much longer, you are far more delusional than I first gave you credit for being. Coach Miles' string is beyond admirable; his tenure has hit great heights. But it is looking increasingly like the energy is gone and LSU could be on the cusp of a scary regression back to the bad old days the longer he remains here. Maybe tonight's game (and if we go to a bowl) will prove me totally wrong. But maybe not.
