Louisiana has produced more NFL players per capita. USC had sanctions. Florida made a bad hiring choice just like we did when our stud coach left, and Strong hasn't had a chance to clean up Mack's mess yet.
In no world is Louisiana a better recruiting state than Florida, Texas or Cali. You think Miles was a bad Hire? Wow youre stupid. Whatever you think about Miles, his tenure is the most successful era ever in lsu football. Also that stud coach you talk about, lost 3 games every year but once.

A good way to compare coaching talent versus player talent is to determine the following in any given era. I don't know the answer but it wouldn't be hard to find.
How many games has LSU lost they were favored to win?
How many games has LSU won they were favored to lose?
Well coached teams win games they are not supposed to win and lose few games they are supposed to win. It seems like we are rarely the underdog which tells me the odds makers believe we often have superior players. It's been a long, long time since opponents have run better players out on the field than LSU has.
